Wastewater Collection Operator III and IV Exam Review
Wastewater professionals who are interested in becoming certified Wastewater Collection Operators in Idaho are invited to attend Wastewater Collection Operators Certification Training.
This two-day class covers a review for those preparing for the Wastewater Operators - Collection III and IV Certification examinations. The purpose of this class is to prepare wastewater professionals in Idaho to pass licensure exams by providing them with all of the information that is required by the ABC need-to-know criteria. It will cover various topics pertaining to the exam as well as information regarding collection systems, including collection system cleaning techniques and equipment, CCTV equipment and usage, collection system management, lift station maintenance, pump and motor operation and maintenance, as well as various other equipment operation and maintenance. There will be a strong emphasis on wastewater math. Federal regulation regarding collection system capacity, management, operation and maintenance will also be discussed.
About the instructor
Keith Slack holds an Idaho Class IV Collections License and has over 10 years of experience with wastewater collections. Keith has experience with pipeline maintenance, operating hydraulic cleaning equipment, lift station maintenance and repair, operating CCTV equipment to evaluate existing infrastructure, as well as collection system repair and rehabilitation, including working on several trenchless rehabilitation projects.
The course fee is $75, which includes two days of training and course materials. Please bring a pencil and calculator to class, and lunch is on your own.
