The Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) Environmental Excellence Award recognizes environmental practices, investment in pollution control, recovery from waste streams, conservation, sustainability and other environmental achievements. The annual award provides recognition of businesses who, through innovative environmental leadership and accomplishment, have achieved outstanding results in environmental protections and enhancement.

 National Recognition Programs

National Environmental Performance Track, U.S. EPA

National Environmental Performance Track is a voluntary partnership that recognizes top environmental performance among participating U.S. facilities of all types, sizes, and complexity, public and private. Program partners are providing leadership in many areas, including preventing pollution at its source.

National Partnership for Environmental Priorities, U.S. EPA

The National Partnership for Environmental Priorities Program (NPEP) encourages public and private organizations to form voluntary partnerships with EPA that reduce the use or release of any of 31 priority chemicals including mercury, lead, and PCBs. EPA welcomes organizations who would like to help meet this goal. Organizations interested in becoming NPEP partners are eligible to receive public recognition for their contributions to NPEP's reduction goal. NPEP goals can be linked to state recognition program goals and can be used as a stepping stone to National Performance Track.
