Pollution Prevention Week:  September 15-21, 2008

 

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) invites businesses, organizations, communities, individuals, and schools to join in recognizing Pollution Prevention (P2) Week by participating in any method or activity that

  • Prevents, eliminates, and/or minimizes the production of waste or pollutants at its source
  • Uses non-toxic or less-toxic products
  • Conserves energy or water
  • Re-uses materials rather than throwing them away
