DEQ seeks comment on draft Tier I air quality permit for Clay Peak Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, Payette

PAYETTE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking public comment on a draft Tier I air quality operating permit for Clay Peak Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, Payette.

The draft permit regulates air pollutants emitted from the facility for five years.

The deadline for submitting written comments addressing air quality considerations is March 1, 2019, at 5 p.m. MST. A public hearing may be held if requested in writing by February 15, 2019.

The permit application, draft permit, and related documents are available for review on DEQ’s website (download at right).
