Clements Concrete Company – Joplin Pit, Boise, applies to DEQ for air quality permit to construct

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received a request for an air quality permit to construct (PTC) from Clements Concrete Company – Joplin Pit, Boise.

The proposed permit will allow the company to convert its existing Tier II operating permit to a PTC and incorporate federal requirements into the permit for its sand and gravel pit located at 10988 Joplin Road.

A public comment period will be provided on the proposed permit if a written request is submitted to DEQ by December 18, 2018, at 5 p.m. MST.

The permit application is available for review on DEQ’s website (download at right).
