DEQ seeks public comment on draft T1 and Permit to Construct for Idaho Forest Group

GRANGEVILLE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking public comment on a draft air quality T1 permit renewal and permit to construct (PTC) modification for Idaho Forest Group in Grangeville, Idaho.
This approval would renew the applicant's previous T1 permit and modify the previous permit to construct to incorporate VOC emissions from the pneumatic conveyance operations and temperature-dependent VOC emissions factors for kiln operations.
The deadline for submitting written comments addressing air quality considerations is January 17, 2019, at 5 p.m. MDT. A public hearing may be held if requested in writing by January 3, 2020.
