DEQ seeks comment on draft Tier I air quality permit for Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill, Nampa

NAMPA — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking public comment on a draft Tier I air quality operating permit for Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill, Nampa.

The draft permit regulates air pollutants emitted from the facility for the next five years.

The deadline for submitting written comments addressing air quality considerations is December 21, 2017, at 5 p.m. MST. A public hearing may be held if requested in writing by December 7, 2017.

The permit application, draft permit, and related documents are available for review on DEQ’s website (download at right).
