City of Bliss presented Certificate of Achievement for drinking water protection

BLISS—The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) presented the city of Bliss a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of outstanding efforts to protect drinking water through the development and implementation of a certified source water protection plan.

The plaque and certificate was awarded to Mayor Chris Pruett at the city council meeting on October 16.

Other source water protection planning team members recognized were Ray Thompson and Kacy Bradshaw, city of Bliss, and Missy Shurtz, Gooding county emergency management coordinator. Presenting the award was Irene Nautch, DEQ source water protection analyst.
