DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to city of Dayton in Franklin County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant in the amount of $25,000 to the city of Dayton in Franklin County.

The funds will be used to prepare a drinking water planning study and environmental review. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $50,000. The remaining $25,000 will be funded by the city of Dayton.
