DEQ seeks comment on a draft wastewater reuse permit renewal for Wildwood Park

WORLEY —The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking public comment on a draft wastewater reuse permit renewal for the Wildwood Park Road and Sewer Association, Inc. in Kootenai County, Idaho.

The applicant owns and operates a municipal wastewater treatment facility that serves seasonal residential units. The permit would allow the city to reuse Class E level recycled water to irrigate nearby forested areas.

Written comments on the draft permit will be accepted through February 24, at 5 p.m. PST.

The draft permit and staff analysis are available for public review at DEQ’s Coeur d'Alene Regional Office (2110 Ironwood Parkway) and on DEQ’s website (download at right).
