DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to Carlin Bay Property Owners Association, Kootenai County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant in the amount of $38,750 to Carlin Bay Property Owners Association in Kootenai County.

The funds will be used to prepare a planning document and environmental review. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $77,500. The remaining $38,750 will be funded by the Carlin Bay Property Owners Association.
