Draft Water Reuse Permit Renewal - Idaho Nuclear Technology and Engineering Center New Percolation Ponds at INL

DEQ is seeking public comment on a draft water reuse permit renewal for the Idaho Nuclear Technology and Engineering Center (INTEC) New Percolation Ponds at the Idaho National Laboratory in Butte County.

The permit authorizes INTEC to continue operating a municipal wastewater reuse system for another seven years. It allows the discharge of a mixture of municipal and inorganic wastewater into two percolation ponds, designed for the purpose of infiltrating applied wastewater to ground water.
