Proposed IPDES Permit Termination - City of Inkom Wastewater Treatment Plant

Accepting Comments from March 15, 2019 to April 15, 2019

DEQ is seeking public comment on a proposed Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (IPDES) permit termination for the city of Inkom wastewater treatment plant located at 1830 S. Bannock Highway in Inkom.

On December 31, 2018, the city submitted a notice of intent to DEQ to terminate the IPDES permit. The facility treats residential domestic sewage and ceased its discharge to the Portneuf River by constructing a winter storage facility, removing an outfall pipe, and obtaining a DEQ reuse permit to land apply treated effluent.
