Capacity Development Annual Report to EPA
The Department of Environmental Quality's Drinking Water Program is responsible for implementation of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The 1996 Amendments to SDWA added provisions for each state to develop a Capacity Development Program (CDP) to assist public drinking water system owners and operators by improving their technical, financial, and managerial (TFM) capabilities. Each year the state provides EPA with an Annual Capacity Development Report outlining the program's progress during the last state fiscal year.
