The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) seeks comment on a draft permit to construct modification for IPEX USA, LLC.
IPEX USA LLC operates a polyvinyl chloride plastic pipe and fittings fabrication facility in Preston, Idaho. In February 2024, the company submitted an application to increase the daily volatile organic compound emissions limit in order to increase production from the five to seven days per week and start a second shift operation. DEQ reviewed the application and proposes to issue the modified permit to construct.
The application materials are available for public review at DEQ’s State Office (1410 N. Hilton Street, Boise, Idaho) and on DEQ’s Public Comment Opportunities page. Written comments will be accepted through December 13, 2024, at 5 p.m. MT. Submit comments electronically using the form below or by mail or email:
