Scoping Meeting November 20, 2024.
Overview
DEQ will hold a scoping meeting on November 20, 2024, before initiating a rulemaking in compliance with Executive Order No. 2020-01, Zero-Based Regulation (EO 2020-01), for IDAPA 58.01.16, Wastewater Rules. Under EO 2020-01, all agencies are required to perform a critical and comprehensive review of their rule chapters to reduce the overall regulatory burden, streamline various provisions, and increase clarity and ease of use. This scoping meeting aims to inform stakeholders of DEQ’s planned review process and the rulemaking timeline.
